What is So Good About Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the state of present moment awareness without interpreting with our own judgment.

It is an impersonal experience.

Anxiety, anger, panic, fear and stress are all caused by not being in the state of mindfulness.

One cannot explore and experience the true nature of the body, mind and the environment without being in the state of mindfulness.

We are not fully aware of our experience when we are not mindful.

We cannot use the body, mind and the environment appropriately, safely and for our benefit when we are not mindful.

You can see with clarity only when you recognise what is distorting reality such as assumptions and denials. It removes our blindfolds and makes us see what we haven't seen before.

It removes our fixed views and can be life-changing. That helps to adjust any imbalances in life.

Mindfulness allows us to see clearly the influence of our mind on the physical body.

It also makes you see that the sadness, depression, fear and stress are all manifested through our erroneous way of seeing and it uncovers and opens your heart and mind to experience joy and rapture as your true state of being.

How to Overcome Self-Unworthiness

The feeling of self-unworthiness is one of the biggest causes of anxiety and depression.  When you have no self-worthiness, you are reluctant to connect with others and tend to live in isolation. Why some people are happy and in full of joy and confidence in themselves and they are in self-acceptance and love and others are feeling low self -worthiness feeling depressed, in self-judgment and hatred towards themselves. Tara Brach, a clinical psychologist describes,  3 simple processes to overcome self-unworthiness. 1.  Learning to observe your own thoughts 2.  Observing your own feelings 3.  Offering loving kindness to yourself. When you have self-hate or self-judgment the primitive part of your brain gets activated. That means we are in a state of fright, flight or freeze state and under stress. We have then, activated our red alert system constantly looking out for danger or threat. That is why offering lovingkindness is so important...
